Deepalie Milie Joshi, Esq.
Ms. Joshi is the founder and managing attorney at Joshi Law Group. Ms. Joshi personally works on each and every case to ensure that a client's needs are being met to the fullest extent. Ms. Joshi learned very early in her legal career that an attorney's integrity is just as important as an attorney's competence, reputation, and breadth of knowledge. Ms. Joshi founded Joshi Law Group on these principles.
Ms Joshi's passion for the law and her desire to help people are what drive her towards excellence. Ms. Joshi made the decision to become an attorney at a very young age and worked diligently to become an attorney licensed in two states by the age of 25. After growing up in a small town in Tennessee, Ms. Joshi graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts in 2006. She then went on to earn her law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Ms. Joshi is licensed to practice law in the State of Tennessee, the State of California, the U.S. District Courts of the Southern District of California, the Central District of California, and the Northern District of California. She is also a member of number of local and statewide attorney groups for litigation and bankruptcy.
Outside of the law, Ms. Joshi enjoys doing yoga, spending time with her husband and family, swimming, following the NBA, and local history.
Geoffrey E. Marr, Esq.
Mr. Marr is a solo-practitioner in San Diego who often collaborates with Joshi Law Group to better serve clients for both firms. Since 1985, Attorney Geoffrey E. Marr has lived and worked in San Diego predominately serving the Southern California business community as well as representing many nationally based lenders, financial institutions, leasing companies and creditors. Mr. Marr has also represented many debtors in all aspects of consumer and commercial bankruptcy cases over the last 25 years.
Mr. Marr has emphasized representation of his clients in both litigation and transactional related matters primarily practicing in real property, collection, creditor rights, commercial business and bankruptcy related matters.
Mr. Marr is licensed to appear in all Courts in the State of California, including the Federal District and Bankruptcy Courts.
Tara R. Lusher, Esq.
Tara Lusher hails from a small Midwestern town in Indiana. Tara graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Tara graduated cum laude from Calwestern School of Law in January 2011 with many accolades. She is licensed to practice law in the State of California and has been admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court of Southern California. In 2012, Tara joined Joshi Law Group, to which she has been a brilliant addition.
Certified Paralegal and Licensed Private Investigator
Richard Draper is an asset to the San Diego community and to Joshi Law Group. Richard Draper is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, honorably discharged in 1971. Mr. Draper went on to become a San Diego Police Officer and Field Training Officer, where he became a narcotics expert and self-defense instructor, serving detail with tactical action, prostitution enforcement, and the beach team. After suffering injuries on the job, Mr. Draper left the San Diego Police Department and went on to graduate with honors from the University of San Diego Paralegal program and to also obtain a Investigator's license with the California Bureau of Investigation and Security Services.
Mr. Draper has worked as a top-notch litigation paralegal and in-house investigator for some of the highest rated litigation firms in San Diego County, and has worked on thousands of civil cases, including a number of cases categorized by the Courts as "complex." Mr. Draper joined Joshi Law Group in 2013.
